Taking Real-World Action from Spiritual Guidance: How the Akashic Records Changed My Relationship with Money

Before I got acquainted with the Akashic Records, it just felt like it was another spiritual tool trying to give me information (I talk more about this in my blog post all about my personal journey in the records which you can read here). The last thing I wanted as an academic researcher and lover of books was more information for the sake of more information. 

I wanted a spiritual experience that changed me and asked me to consider what it meant to be human right now, right here. While a lot of people online talk about the power of the Akashic Records, very few explore the ways that this powerful spiritual tool can help you take much more meaningful and international action in your life.

Technically, that’s the purpose of receiving an Akashic Records Reading!

This beautiful experience can help you connect more deeply with your intuition so that you’re not depending on others (or the Akashic Records) to make decisions so you can actually create the life you know you’re meant to lead. 

However, like any spiritual tool, this guidance doesn’t always come in the most logical and human way you’d expect. Stick with me here, it’s a goodie!

Taking Aligned Action Doesn’t Have Any Guarantees

A year ago, my partner had lost his job and we were really struggling. I had to basically pay all our bills for a period of time which led me to falling behind on various loans and credit cards. I knew intuitively I should look into a consolidation loan, but months kept passing by and it wasn’t until I had a reading from my mentor that I was like OK, fine, I’ll look into it.

I had received several offers and ended up calling one that I actually found online. I spent maybe 15 to 20 minutes on a call with the most kindest human I’d ever encountered in this loan world. By the end of our conversation, I had decided not to move forward with the offer. It just didn’t feel right to close all of my accounts, intuitively I knew I would be back on my feet soon enough and I didn’t want to have to start building my credit all the way from scratch again.

I’m sure you can imagine, I was annoyed as shit. I had followed through with my intuition and the guidance I had received from the Akashic Records through a trusted reader as well as the readings I had done for myself.

Yet, here I was, still in the hole financially, with no support in sight. I thought this would be THE solution, the one that would finally relieve me of the debt I was carrying, and yet that was not the case at all.

Alas, I returned to the Akashic Records, wanting to give my guides a piece of my mind, LOL. By the way, I imagine I’ve been given this path as a channeler of the records because I am stubborn AF. I don’t actually take guidance very well and try to run the show ALL the time by myself! So when I tell you, I was gonna tell them something, I was going to ask them all the questions, because I just didn’t understand why they would guide me toward doing something in my own readings with them, then send the same message through another reader, and yet here I would land, without the support I was seeking.

And I did ask all the questions. (Probably just one, but I’m the epitome of drama, so here we are :-)

They revealed the most beautiful message I didn’t even know I needed to hear: this was never about the money. It was about your ability to advocate and speak up for what you need very specifically, and be able to say “no” to someone when that wasn’t being offered.

WHEWW - You wouldn’t know this necessarily, but I have the hardest time saying “no”, especially in sales situations. Honestly. It’s like my voice disappears and I’m like well, I feel bad, I should just say yes because I got on a call or visited a place, that should be a way of me compensating someone for the time they spent with me. (This of course has been another big fuckin’ lesson as an entrepreneur but that’s for another blog post!)

In that reading, they made it clear that I have many facets to my relationship with money that this particular action to get a consolidation loan was helping me be with. I learned how to research what exactly I needed and see which loan service providers were going to give it to me, I learned how to ask the right questions so I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. I also figured out that yet again, I waited too late to ask for help which limited my ability to get the loan I actually wanted.

ALL of it though, could not have been learned if I didn’t heed the guidance to go figure out a fuckin’ consolidation loan.

The Akashic Records, just like any other spiritual tool, doesn’t work according to human logic. Just because I took a chance, took a step forward, finally made that choice and took action, doesn’t mean it was all going to magically “work out” as my human mind had determined. Really, it was the choice to ask for help and figure out what kind of help I actually needed that led me forward into my next learning. It was what allowed me to gather important wisdom surrounding money which is crucial to my life as a human in this lifetime. It’s a topic and relationship I’m here to learn a whole lot from (which is about money but also never really about money at all).

We’re Deepening and Expanding As We Keep Taking Action

When you get an Akashic Records reading, the purpose is to support you with all the moving pieces in your life and determine the next best step that will help you create the life you know you want to live. In this case, I wanted to figure out my finances and the Akashic Records were like, let’s consider your relationship with money which is the real source of the problem.

This is what I love about working with the Akashic Records, it reveals to me the lessons I’m walking with and the choices that help me deepen that learning. Through my journey in the records, I know that money is a really important part of my life as a human, it’s tenuous because it’s here to teach me so much.
